Background/Information on Sagedoors
Kitchen Vision has been working closely with Sagedoors for 10+ years and trusts them with manufacturing our panel work (door fronts only) for our Melamine and Acrylic with Laser Edging. Sagedoors is a Kiwi-family-owned business for the past 40 years, Sage Doors manufacture New Zealand’s highest quality cabinetry doors.

Properties
The edge tape is melted directly to the edge of the board, eliminating the need for glue and enabling the manufacture doors with no ugly glue lines. Invisedge® doors are edged on custom built Homag KAL 310 edge banders to create a superior edge.
Following latest trends in Europe, Sage Doors uses a 1.2mm thick edge.
Sage Doors Invisedge® take advantage of the benefits of MKT Alpha-Tape®PP Zero. This Polypropylene edgetape has many advantages over PVC or ABS – it is more environmentally friendly, it shrinks less, is more chemical resistant, and is colourfast.

With a realistic look and feel, consistent colours with hard & durable surface, Timbalook is the veneer alternative – cost-effective and low maintenance.
Kitchen Vision recommends the Timberlook melamine due to the styles and texture options of the timberlook melamine. These are designed to create a realistic look and feel to your cabinetry fronts, the textured surface imitates that of a wire-brushed veneer.

Properties
The edge tape is melted directly to the edge of the board, eliminating the need for glue, and enabling the manufacture doors with no ugly glue lines. Invisedge® doors are edged on custom built Homag KAL 310 edge banders to create a superior edge.
For normal cleaning, simply use a damp, soapy cloth, then dry with a towel to remove streaks. Due to the deep, rutted nature of the product, a small brush may need to be used at times to clean off more stubborn marks.
These sheets are extremely flexible with their uses due to their “taller than standard”. The panels being the size of 2700mm high x 1805mm wide the possibilities are endless for this product.

ACRYMATTE AND ACRYGLOSS

Kitchen Vision’s showroom kitchen in Takapuna, demonstrates the use and quality of the Sage Doors Acrylic product called Acrymatte®. Acrymatte® is within the mid-high end range of the market due to its super smooth surface with advanced scratch resistance for amazing durability. We would recommend to use this any high traffic areas like kitchens, scullery and laundries.
Even though their range may seem limited, the colour options that they provide work with any colours from warm to beige to grey undertones. The Optidoor range is home to 20+ fully customisable door profiles to give you endless opportunities in your designs. These panels needs to be finished with a Lacquer/Paint finish, which gives you endless possibilities with the colours you can choose from.
With a focus on modern, classic & timeless profiles, the designs that you’ll find in the Optidoor range are ready to take your project into the future. The profiles can be easily edited during ordering to create your own custom profiles – for example, by editing the frame widths, changing the spacing of the grooves or adding multiple frames, it’s up to you.
